Spotting Shorebirds

Each spring, thousands of migratory shorebirds use the Delaware Bay as a stopover to rest and refuel on the plentiful and nutritious horseshoe crab eggs. These photos are meant to help you identify the different species that can be found along the Delaware Bay.
