Save the Short-eared Owl

Hi. I am a short-eared owl. I am an endangered species. Here is some important information about what short-eared owls eat, live, and survive.
I hunt at night, in the morning, and late evening. I usually eat small mammals, but sometimes I eat small birds. I eat my prey by flying over it and then pouncing on it. Unlike most owls, I carry my prey in my talons.
Short-eared owls live in big, open spaces such as prairies, grasslands, and agricultural fields. When I migrate, I move through mountain passes, flying great distances.
I am a medium sized owl. I have dark streaks on my chest, belly, and back. Male short-eared owls have light colored feathers than females. My colors provide good camouflage.
I am endangered because of lack of food and water, diseases, and loss of habitat. People have destroyed my habitat, and I think they have to stop to save the short-eared owl.
