Visit our table to buy CWF merchadise and meet our biolgists at the Atlantic County Utilities Authority's Earth Day Festival. The festival draws approximately 4,000 visitors and hosts over 140 vendors, crafters and exhibitors.

This year’s stage entertainment will include live music by Adam Shaber, environmental music by Valerie Vaughn, recycling magic shows by Mr. RE-Cycle, the 4-H Cloggers, The Grand Falloons Earth Science Circus show, and Native American songs and dances by the Venture Crew.

Exciting attractions featured throughout the day will be endangered species shows by the Cape May County Zoo, electricity tabletop exploration by The Franklin Institute, 4-H Petting Zoo, live turtle encounters by Karen Buckley, the NASA Mobile Science Classroom (courtesy of Burlington County College), Atlantic City Aquarium touch tank, nature and bird watching walks, pictures with SuperCan, and children’s games.

Shuttle bus tours to the wind, solar and wastewater facility in Atlantic City are available every half hour. Eco hayrides to the top of the landfill are always a hit! Enhance your knowledge of recycling on a tour of the Recycling Center.

New this year are garden and nature workshops in the amphitheater between 11 am and 3 pm. Topics will include native plants, composting, rain barrel construction, community supported agriculture, and rain garden design to name a few.

Most activities and attractions at the festival are free due to in part by the generous support of sponsors for the event.
