International Migratory Bird Day at Jenkinson's Aquarium

Learn about NJ's migratory birds, as well as other species such as horeshoe crabs, without which some birds would be unable to complete their migration. Conserve Wildlife staff will be at the aquarium between 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. with information regarding NJ's migratory birds and CWF merchandise. The documentary "Crash", which chronicles the plight of the dwindling horseshoe crab population as well as the shorebirds which rely on them, will also be shown in the video room.

The field course will be led by Matt McCort, Staff Herpetologist and Willdife Ecologist with Herpetological Associates, Inc. Departing from Bass River State Forest, in Burlington County, this one-day field experience will guide you to various locales in southern New Jersey where you will visit and identify suitable habitats of species listed below. There will also be a discussion and brief demonstration of E&T survey techniques. Registration costs $275 please see event website for details.
