Join CWF at the Sedge Island Natural Resource Education Center for a hands-on professional development opportunity available for both formal and informal teachers. Participants will encounter peregrine falcons, ospreys and other New Jersey wildlife while learning the effective ways on how to teach science and environmental stewardship to students. This workshop will utilize CWF's WebCams and lessons aligned with NGSS and Multiple Intelligences Theory of Learning.

Join CWF Senior Biologist Todd Pover at Island Beach State Park's Interpretive Center to learn about endangered piping plovers - their fascinating nesting behavior, breeding trends in New Jersey, recent research on their migration and wintering grounds, and an update on their status at Island Beach State Park - where they returned to nest last year after a decade long absence. This will be an informative presentation followed by Q&A, appropriate for those who know little or nothing about piping plovers or those looking to expand their knowledge.
