Volunteers are needed to help install barrier fencing along a portion of Great Bay Blvd. in Little Egg Harbor. The fencing is being placed along the first section of road where high mortality rates have been observed. Volunteers will help lay out fence, install posts, hang fence, and back fill holes. Terrapins can be viewed along the road so volunteers are welcome to patrol the road so terrapins can safely cross it.

Come visit us at the Burlington County's 18th Annual Earth Fair! This all day (rain or shine) event features vendors, environmental displays, entertainment, kids' activities, and much more. The theme for 2011 is "Back to Our Roots: Environmentally, Culturally, and Musically." Visit the "Sustainable Living Tent" that will showcase a wide assortment of earth-friendly solutions for the home. R U GRN (texting for Are You Green?) will return featuring 14 stations with tips on how to "go green." The Recycling Stop and Drop will return to recycle old computers and provide free document paper shredding for county residents.
