Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ and Duke Farms are partnering to provide a four-day virtual series for families with kids ages 6-10!

Each day offers a new topic presented during a one-hour class by experts in the field via Zoom. As a bonus, activities and resources to extend learning and family fun will be emailed to all participants!

Monday, July 20: Larissa Smith, CWF Biologist, will share her experiences and favorite stories from her long- term work and direct contact with New Jersey’s bald eagles. Learn from this expert in the field about why these birds are now flourishing in our state, the technology that allows us to get a closer look at them and how we can keep them healthy.

Tuesday, July 21: Do the “Macro Shuffle” with Duke Farms educator and expert in the field (and stream), Von Scully, in search of aquatic life and clean water. Discover how these tiny critters can teach us about the cleanliness of our drinking water.

Wednesday, July 22: Allegra Mitchell, CWF Biologist and Stephanie DAlessio, CWF Director of Education will show you some of their favorite snakes. Learn about reptile food chains, habitat and habits from these experts in the field.

Thursday, July 23: Expert in the field, Ranger Bob, will prove that every image of our solar system that you've seen on TV, in a book or even on a tee shirt has been WRONG! But, no worries, two fun activities, will clear it all up for you. You may even learn some weird facts about our planetary neighbors along our journey.

Sign up for one, two, three or all four classes at https://bit.ly/2OsXqT2.

Facilitated by Stephanie DAlessio, Director of Education at CWF, and Kate Reilly, Manager of Education at Duke Farms, each class will focus on NJ native species, conservation, and what you can do to protect our natural resources.
