Learn about nature through hands-on activities and crafts. This fun learning environment is filled with exploring, discovering, observing and creating. They will relate to nature by participating in a variety of activities including hikes, pond explore, ecosystems and me, games, animals, trees, plants, scavenger hunt, water aware. Children will learn-by-doing nature crafts such as painting with nature, creating a nature name tag, making nature musical instruments, nature montage, necklace and box. Jr. Naturalists will take home skills on how to protect and preserve nature.

4 Sessions will run Fridays 9:30 to 3:30.

July 8, 15, 22 & 29

and again

August 5, 12, 19, 26 (July & August sessions are the same)

$160 for 4 consecutive days or $40 per child/per session

Registration required, visit http://www.conservewildlifenj.org/getinvolved/programs/allaire/ to download a registration form.

Bring a completed copy of the registration form to present at the toll booth to provide you drop-off access to the Nature Center.

Join the NJ Division of Fish & Wildlife and learn about the natural history and biology of the Garden State's largest land mammal, as well as about black bear research. Since black bears are found statewide, this program will also provide information about co-existing with bears and tips on how to react if a black bear is encountered.

$5 per adult, $10 per family (2 adults, 3 children), $3 per additional child. Park Entrance Fee required.

Join Ann-Marie and Stephen Woods, NJ Pinelands and Nature Photographers on a journey through the seasons to a "world within worlds" of macro photography. Learn how to see structure, color, and movement in the landscape, and experience new things. Use basic photo techniques to record the beauty in nature, change perspectives, and focus on Allaire State Forest's color palette. Slide show and photo hike. Bring your camera! Adults and interested teenagers only please.

Eric Sambol uses the medium of photography to reawaken his childhood passion for nature. The exhibition, curated by Eric, showcases the remarkable wildlife he has had the pleasure to interact with. The show features wildlife from four different and distinct locations in New Jersey, Alaska, Manitoba, and British Columbia. www.EricSambol.com

The artist is donating all the proceeds from the sales at this exhibit to the Scholarship Fund of Monmouth University and the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey.
