Bat houses provide vital roosting habitat for local bat populations. Join us in building a batch! The completed roosts will be used in our bat conservation efforts, especially in cases where bats are being evicted from human houses. One bat house will be raffled among the participants.
The Mercer County Park Commission is generously providing the bat house kits and co-hosting this workshop with CWF. It's free & family friendly! Walk-ins are welcome; RSVPs are appreciated.
***BONUS!*** A "prequel" Bats of New Jersey presentation, featuring live bats, will be given at this same location on Friday, Nov 15th at 7:30 pm by Diane Nickerson (Mercer County Wildlife Center) and Jenn Rogers (Mercer County Park Commission). Come to both if you can!
