Peregrine Falcon
I am a peregrine falcon. I live in the forest but ever since those humans came and chopped down the trees, I barely have any of them to live in. Another problem that the humans caused is DDT. DDT is a pesticide that farmers use to get rid of bugs. But it gets in the water and since we eat fish that are contaminated with DDT it makes our eggshells too thin and then they break when we try to keep them warm. Thankfully, I'm a male so it didn't have a big affect on my life now but, when I was a little chick in my egg I almost cracked, but I was lucky I didn't. Like I said before, I barely have any trees, except for one, which I'm living in now. Other than fish I also eat mice, rats, chipmunks, small birds, and other small vermin. Hopefully, the humans like realize I'm a living thing too and stop threatening my species!
