Volunteers are needed to help mend and repair our terrapin barrier fence on GBB.
Duties: Volunteers will help mend and repair our barrier fencing volunteers are needed to help fasten and hang a plastic mesh fence to metal posts with zip ties. Metal posts may need to be replaced and or installed where they have been vandalized or stolen. Some sections of the fence may need to be pushed into the ground more (it was installed in a trench) with shovels. Also, brush needs to be picked up along the length of the fence where brush mowing took place this past winter. Some other brush might need to be cut back in places with shears and pruners.
I would ask for volunteers to dress accordingly with the given weather conditions for the day. Bring plenty of water, sunblock, work gloves, and insect repellant.
